Commissioned by a private donor for the Beckman Institute at Urbana-Champaign, this is the largest cast bronze I've worked on. Perhaps that's a misnomer: I designed it and thought a lot about how to make it, but never laid a hand on the metal except to sign it.

I flew into Chicago to see it installed, but couldn't help because it was union work.

A nice piece, again cast by Reinmuth Bronze Studios. It was based on this design.
