Steel, ball bearings, 3” diameter

A puzzle-sculpture in three parts, interlocking with 3/8" spheres. It's held together by the inverse of tensegrity: compression forces hold the balls in place. The neoprene balls are easier to manage; the frosted glass ones are prettier.

I made this at a time when I was in touch with the high-end puzzle community. There was agreement that it's ingenious, and certainly pretty, but difficult as a dexterity puzzle in rather the wrong way. Therefore I took it out of production.

I've put the model on Shapeways, if you feel lucky.
