I made another biomorphic design.  I put a frosted glass ball in the center of this one. 

Oviparous animals typically have at hatching a toothlike structure ("small, sharp, cranial protuberance" cf. Wikipedia) which they use to tear or break out of the egg.  Sort of a tiny LifeHammer.  Such structures are seen in most birds and reptiles as well as monotremes, a few frogs, and some spiders.  In birds the egg tooth is a horny growth on the upper beak, and the chick has a specially developed neck muscle with which to operate it.

This sculpture is machine-finished, which gives a more golden and glossy surface, but it is hand signed.
